Problematic train

26 December 2009
One accident which have been happened on 8.29am -
1 train was at the corner east of Kylein, 500m, directly was stalled for checking. By that time, it says:
Do Not Board 1 min (very few: 60 people alighted)
School New Street 3 mins (120 people alighted)
School New Street 6 mins (100 people alighted)
School New Street 9 mins (70 people alighted)
School New Street 12 mins (then, it was very crowded, yeh hey !, 320 people want to cheong in, very crowded and 90 people is in the train, waiting for 20 to alight). But however, 410 people and squeezed next to the door. While 96 was seated in the train. Then 3-car train and it is very crowded).
8.41 AM - People i go in. then train very crowded no space doors close.
cause disruption again. a large crowd was at the Community Centre.
they are checking train and fault for 10 mins, and then train returned back to School New Street, then it became 6 mins.

at the westbound platform, when it says '3 mins', they reversed for 1 train, back to the depot. and another train, go into the available track (space between 6 mins and 10 mins). then another train go back to depot, at 11 mins.

nTRIX to be extended to 4 schools from 28 December 2009
nTRIX extended to Catholic High School, Raffles Girls' Primary School, Raffles Girls' Secondary School and Raffles Institution from 28 December 2009.
Change of the Student Mail
Due to the student mail having low usage, it has decided to tighten it to make it as 'School Mail'.

nTRIX extended to Nanyang Girls' High School
nTRIX will be extended to Nanyang Girls' High School on 24 December 2009. This is part of the measures to have attendance marked in Nanyang Girls' area.
Student Mail Introduction
New Student Mail was introduced from 24 December 2009. It will replace TPS Mail and will enhance its mail to 'full functionality' mode. It will be having its MOE mode, like Google Apps.

Latest Changes

3 new half-height gates installed in Singapore
From 25 December 2009, half-height gates will be installed on Yishun Avenue 9 (east of Yishun Avenue 6), Yishun Avenue 2 (eastern side, between Yishun Avenue 1 and Yishun Ring Road) and Yishun Street 81 (part, at the Orchid Park Secondary School).
Half-height gates installation will happen as there are more accidents. As this is to prevent accidents on the road, this means that 3 new half-height gates be added to the gate locations.
DfT (Safety Department) will introduce this schemes once have road availability.
New Yishun Viaduct opening from 25 December 2009
From 25 December 2009, the Yishun Viaduct will be opened to traffic. It will go from Yishun Service Road to Yishun Avenue 2. The exit will be located at Central Expressway.

Timothy Mok have been successfully posted to East View Secondary School.

Tampines Secondary School, in which the school has ASD support and I supposed to go there cannot go in, totally screwed. The N(A) minimum marks is 173 now. Over 300 students queued up to go to Tampines Secondary School now. People below 173 marks still have time to appeal for secondary school.

I have make appeals twice. One at the Tampines Secondary School and another one in the afternoon - East View Secondary School. i talked to OM of east view just now, want to go general office.

There are 33 people currently being in Singapore as part of TPS Journey. I think the people have went back from other countries before, during or after the home coming dinner.

Other people have been exited part of off topic: Angeline to Dunman Sec Sch (2nd), Pei Ling to Pasir Ris Sec Sch, Lynette to Ping Yi and denisya to bedok south sec sch.

Hope to see people in Christmas Party 2009 at Richelle Phua's house on 24 December 2009.

Smoking bans have been extended to 5 Locations

From 22 December 2009, smoking is banned at Ong Xiao Qi (Geylang Serai), Cheryl Chua (Blk 162), Gavin Lim (Blk 701), Ryan Tan (Blk 701) & Amanda Liew (Blk 903) of which will be banned. This will be the first places to ban smoking to enhance environment.
Smokers who caught smoking will be thrown out of the houses and will not be allowed to enter until finish smoking.

Train services will allow competition from 2010 and works to begin: There are some plans which has some strategies -
KTM will allow high-speed rail services to run to Indonesia.
Singapore MRT and Singapore Overground will offer some services to Johor Bahru. These stations will need immigration checks.
Mayor of Tampines election to push back to March 2010: This is to allow direct competition within train services and the Mayor of Tampines election, intending that there will be shortest wait due to 2010 Youth Olympic Games. The election will be in conjunction with TPS Meeting.
Approval of New Resorts World Route (R3): The approval of New Resorts World Route R3 from Ang Mo Kio to Resorts World at Sentosa will enhance a new route from the north to RWS. It will be operated from Blue Triangle using some double-deck buses. Other bus routes will include:

Starting from 1 December 2009, Bowen Secondary School, Bukit View Secondary School, Chestnut Drive Secondary School, Concord Primary School, Coral Primary School, Holy Innocent's High School, Montfort Secondary School and Peicai Secondary School, giving additional schools for a choice of the night.
The 24-hour introduction of these schools is to help creativity and more nightlife, especially when there is Christmas party on 24 December 2009 is to make choices, thus making students a choice mode.
